Creating a Healing Space: Inside Our west linn Clinic
The treatment space is located in a private detached studio. Easy street parking is available in front of the residence. After a short walk on a gravel path, patients enter the back garden through a side gate. The studio is surrounded by a tranquil garden and our developing urban homestead. There are native plants, vegetable beds, a wildflower garden, four ducks, and occasionally our dog. The studio is filled with natural light, calm colors, plants, mosaic art and gemstones. The treatment table has a far-infrared amethyst crystal Biomat which is often left on for added warmth and additional healing benefits, however may also be left off if preferred by patients. Occasionally essential oils diffuse in the space and birdsongs waft into the room. The doors and windows are periodically opened to the fresh air when the weather allows, otherwise a medical-grade air filter is run during busy treatment days. My intention is to create a welcoming, healing and safe space for all.
